Visionaries’ Gathering is a day long experience coming up on January 19th on the unceded and traditional territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation, at Quest University in Squamish.
Through a full day of talks, workshops, ceremonies, and music from various knowledge-holders, this event seeks to lead each of us on a mind / body / soul-transforming pathway of self-discovery and awareness that will weave through all aspects of our collective being. It will uncover and unsettle perceptions of self, home, and place, and in doing so will help us rediscover and reorient ourselves towards mindfulness and balance within the interconnected webs of life and land we share. As you navigate through this decolonizing and un-framing experience, be mindful of where you come from, where you are and where you are headed.
This event is dedicated to the Indigenous Nations of the World, and seeks to honor and respect all teachings offered by Indigenous knowledge holders on the unceded and stolen Coast Salish traditional lands which we occupy in BC. For this reason, all admission for First Nations-identifying individuals is by donation.
Subsidies for the tickets are also available by sending an email to the organizing team.
