COVID-19 has changed our lives in only a few weeks. Canadians are doing their part to contain the virus, staying indoors or keeping a safe distance from others. Many businesses have closed to protect the public and their employees.

We started this list of local businesses who are still open in Squamish. Things are progressing rapidly and we will continue to update this post as needed. For the most accurate information please refer to individual businesses’ websites or Facebook pages.

Grocery Stores

Spud.ca has been Canada’s go-to grocery delivery website for over 20 years. Due to high demand, Spud.ca recommends placing your grocery order one week in advance.

Nesters Market asks customers to reserve the first hour of each day for customers who wish extra assistance or consideration, like seniors and those living with disabilities. They do not offer delivery or pick-up.

Save On Foods is open and delivers, but due to a spike in demand, they are experiencing frequent outages of their online order and delivery system. They ask those who do not need special consideration to do their shopping in person.

Liquor Stores

Howe Sound Brewery and Firebread Restaurant are closed until further notice, but off sales can be ordered at the front desk of the hotel. The hotel remains open.

A-Frame Brewing will be closed to the public from March 21st, but they deliver! Order before 3 PM for same day delivery. Visit their website for a link to their order form.

Other Online Services

Wondering how to fill all this free time? Local guitar legend Will Ross is offering private music lessons online at a reduced rate. Message him on Facebook for details.
