Guided Tours

Squamish dog sledding tours are memorable backcountry experiences. The sleds are pulled by enthusiastic teams of dogs, usually Siberian or Alaskan huskies. They glide quietly along snow-covered trails. Enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery along the route can include mountain views, frozen lakes or powder-filled meadows.

No experience is needed to enjoy dogsledding, and it’s possible to choose the level of participation. Sit cocooned and cosy in the sled. Or, learn commands from your guide (gee, haw, hike!), stand on the sled runners and drive the dog team. These arctic dogs have been bread over the years to withstand the cold temperatures, pull heavy loads and pull sleds over 120 kilometers at speed up to 35km per hour.
