The First Eagle Spotted in Squamish BC!

The Bald Eagles are Here!

It’s that time of year when the beautiful bald eagles start showing up to Squamish, BC to feast on the salmon. Yesterday, when driving over the Cheakamus river near Fergie’s cafe, we spotted a big bald eagle sitting in what I call the Eagle Tree. Some winter days I’ve spotted over 8 eagles in the same tree!

This is the perfect time of year to head to Squamish for some eagle hunting (with your camera), they are hard to spot in October, but they have arrived in Squamish BC!

The Coho Salmon are starting to arrive and the Bald Eagles will follow . So grab your cameras, hire a guide and come out to Squamish BC to check out this magnificent birds in their natural habitat.
