Spiced Chocolate Almond Smoothie Recipie
During the summer months, many of us get away from our good eating habits and often enjoy drinks on the patio, BBQ’s and campfire cook-outs. When Fall comes around our bodies are often slightly run down from all the festivities, rich foods and excess alcohol that that is usually associated with all that summer fun. A week long fall detox will help to recharge your body and boost the immune system in preparation for the cold and flu season and help to keep you healthy so that you can enjoy all of the adventures that fall and winter will bring. Ingredients:

[li]1 cup brewed Bija detox tea (hot)[/li]

1/2 cup almond or rice milk[/li]
[li]1 tsp raw cacao powder[/li][li]1 tbsp hemp seeds[/li][li]1/2 banana[/li][li]2 tsp almond butter[/li]
Blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy and enjoy!
