Our Wednesday night ski tour to Red Heather Hut is a social night to get on skis and get uphill. This is a Girls Only skateboard program! Running every Thursday afternoon, we'll be Coaching the coolest girls in Squamish how to ride their board, the features and the mini ramp! Our Lessons encompass the fundamental/development stage of Skateboarding so athletes develop at their own pace through the progression of skills in a safe and fun environment. Ultimate snow-ready program to be taught and progress to corking, tame dogging, wildcatting and sending misty's. Includes freestyle Trampoline work for spatial awareness, off-axis control, locking on and off rails/ledges, landing positions, bailouts and rolls, balance/coordination, specific ski, and board skills, core strength and conditioning Develop in a controlled environment before attempting on snow. 10x 90min sessions every Thursday using Snowboard Addiction & Ski Addiction equipment. The next Awards Summit will be held on March 7th from 9am - 12pm. This community event is an opportunity for all our youth recreational program participants to showcase the skills they've been working on all term, and to earn their levels. Friends, family, and climbing community members are encouraged to attend and cheer on all the participants! This is a free event for spectators, and no registration is required. Coffee and refreshments will be available.
