Overview
Heli Skiing and Snowboarding is an experience of a lifetime, nothing beats untouched powder with a small group of friends in the beautiful Coastal BC mountains. Squamish is blessed with epic backcountry skiing so close to the city, and hit with deep powder due to storms from the Pacific Ocean. Helicopters provide you with the flexibility to go pretty much everywhere to access our powder the way it is meant to be, unhurried and uncrowded.
Squamish is the perfect place to stay for your next Heli Skiing Trip, with our mild weather at sea level, you can ride powder in the morning and golf in the afternoon!
The Coast Mountains lie on the western edge of British Columbia, rising 4000 meters from the Pacific Ocean. The Coast mountains are hit with some of the biggest snowfalls in North America, as they are the first in line to storms hitting from the Pacific Ocean.
Our helicopter company has land tenure to over 387 square miles of terrain spread on mountains with runs on every aspect of the compass, the skiing is always un-tracked, un-hurried, un-crowded, unbelievable and most of the time on runs that are un-named… that is until we get to the bottom and give it a name. Come skiing with us and you might get to name a run sometime during your trip.
Safety
Your safety is our prime concern. Our operator constantly monitors snow and weather conditions throughout the day so you can be as safe as possible in the backcountry. Everyone wears a transceiver and is trained to use it during our safety orientation session.
Flexibility & Value
Heliskiing will not be the least expensive day on your ski trip. However, it has to be the best day of your trip. That’s why we try to maximize the amount of skiing you get when you come skiing with us. We want to share with you the most amount of skiing we can safely pack into a day. You won’t find more skiing or more fun for the money anywhere.
The best thing about a helicopter is that it can go pretty much anywhere. With our fully certified guides in the front seat sniffing out the best run every run, you will get the best skiing there is to be had. With skiing on all aspects there is seldom a day where we go skiing that isn’t “Your Best Day Ever”.
With the skiing being in groups of four, the mismatch of abilities that can plague a day’s heliskiing are minimized. We group guests so that everyone has approximately the same ability. That way your day is the most fun, with the best skiing and a relaxed and truly enjoyable atmosphere.
The other place our flexibility shines is in custom packages. Imagine powder runs in the morning and Golf or Mountain biking in the afternoon? This is all possible in the outdoor recreation capital of Canada.
