Yoga with Climbers

The seventh Summer Session, back by popular demand!
Running Wednesday evenings in July and August. Each week will bring you a rad new topic led by climbers in the Squamish community. Sessions are FREE for members and day pass holders.

𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮: 𝗬𝗼𝗴𝗮 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀
Yoga gives time to move mindfully and develop stability. In this session we will work with climbing specific target areas like the shoulders, neck and hips. Restrictions in these areas can limit the efficient use of power in crux moves or result in pain during or after climbing. We will explore our mobility and use deep breathing during conscious movement to help expand these ranges. Charlie is known for his detail oriented teaching style, and brings a healing approach to class with his understanding of physiology and climbing specific training.
