Yin Yoga Training

An event every day that begins at 12:00 pm, repeating until July 21, 2019

This training is for yoga teachers and serious practitioners alike. As well as any body workers who are looking for a new edge to their offerings. Yin yoga could be just the thing you are looking for.
In this training we will cover:
~ the philosophy behind yin yoga and where it came from.
~ yin yang theory
~ the fundamental yin yoga postures – how to modify, proper use of props, and energetic connection
~ Chakra Essentials and the energy body
~ a few key restorative yoga postures
~ the basics of mindfulness meditation
~ compassionate touch
~ how to teach a yin yoga class – how to sequence and theme an effective class
~ how to weave the yin postures and philosophy into your life and other modalities of teaching and moving.
While this is being promoted as a teacher training, it’s really for anyone who is looking to find a way to slow down and connect to them self. A way to enrich your life and your relationships.
The course is about so much more than making shapes with the body. The program is an invitation to unfold into who you are – and to meet yourself right there.
