The Art of Alignment with Elizabeth Nerland

An event every day that begins at 1:00 pm, repeating until October 20, 2019
Join Elizabeth Nerland at North Yoga in Squamish, BC for an exploration of Vinyasa Yoga alignment that will help you build a sustainable, joyful, and healing practice.
When? Saturday, October 19th // 1-3pm:
Yoga Basics: sun salutations, standing postures, forward and back bends.
Sunday, October 20th // 1-3pm:
Yoga Playground: twists, arm balances, inversions, the art of relaxation.
This two day workshop is for those who: are new to yoga; have been practicing for a while but have practice related aches/injuries; have an established practice but wish to refine it; want to begin or deepen a home practice.
You will learn: the purpose of various asanas; guiding alignment principles; how to avoid common injuries; how to modify and deepen postures in class.
$60 Both sessions
$40 Single session

Elizabeth has been practicing Vinyasa Yoga for over ten years. Because of her nursing and kinesiology studies, as well as her extensive hours of study and practice with her Yoga teachers, she has an in-depth grasp of both the biomechanics and psycho energetics of asanas. Her workshops help you achieve freedom of movement and ease in the body; in turn, your mind is free to focus on meditation and devotion.
