March 12 @ 7:15 pm - 9:30 pmFree
The Quest University Canada Student Environmental Committee invites you to participate in the third annual Sustainability Summit. On Thursday March 12th, please join us for an evening to learn about the Fraser Basin Council Youth Program’s “Co-Creating a Sustainable BC” initiative, as well as to discuss local and global youth environmental movements and how to engage with them.
This event takes place on the traditional territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation). The Sustainability Summit will be an opportunity for local youth, organizations, and community leaders, from a variety of interests and perspectives, to come together for meaningful dialogue about the role of youth in environmental movements.

Students from Quest University Canada will be taking notes during the round table discussions, which will be compiled into a summary report to be sent out to participants after the event. Our hope is that this summary document will serve as a way to continue conversation, at Quest University and in the Sea to Sky Corridor, around sustainability and youth activism. The findings will also be used by the Fraser Basin Council Youth Program to inform their current environmental initiative.
If you would like to share promotional material for the organization you represent, please respond to this email as we can organize a table for you. We hope that you can use this opportunity to grow your network of potential volunteers and supporters.
We ask that you help us in making this event a success by taking a moment to forward this invitation to any organizations, friends, or family who might be interested in joining the Sustainability Summit.
