Quest Lecture Series: Computation – Its Nature & Limits

May 19 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free
Join us for our virtual Quest Lecture Series:
Computers are everywhere and affect every part of our lives. In this talk, we shall consider the nature of computation, and how two groundbreaking technologies—quantum computing (QC) and artificial intelligence (AI)—are poised to change how we think about computation. We shall discuss not only what we are currently able to do with QC and AI, but how QC and AI promise to shape our future.
Presented by Darcy Otto. (https://questu.ca/academics/faculty/darcy-otto/)
