What’s happening with festivals? How important are they when we are in the middle of a pandemic? Can festivals really make a big impact on arts, community and culture or is just another business?
Join the organisers and creators of the world’s finest festivals, including
Andrea Graham (Bass Coast), Mo Douglas (Arts Whistler – Whistler Children’s Festival), Julia Montague(Crankworx), Joey Gibbons (Gibbons/ WSSF) for an intimate discussion on the role that festivals play on arts, culture & community.

About the organisers…..
Founded in 2015, Mass Culture is a charitable arts research organization that seeks to support the dissemination of arts and cultural research across Canada. Through a network of stakeholders, Mass Culture addresses cultural research issues at organizational, sectoral, and governmental levels.
The Common is a hub for startups, growth businesses & forward thinking organisations.
The Squamish Arts Council (SAC) is the umbrella arts organization representing more than 35 arts, culture and heritage groups. SAC volunteers develop and promote arts and cultural activities and manage two galleries: the Arts Council building located at 37950 Cleveland Avenue in Pavilion Park and the Artisan Galleries located at 1336 Main Street.
