Ashtanga Yoga Fall Semester Series

An event every week that begins at 6:00am on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, repeating until December 28, 2018

Ashtanga yoga is a beautiful and highly therapeutic yoga practice. It welcomes complete beginners to advanced practitioners. Students are adjusted and supported individually and move at a pace suitable to their needs; this traditional way of teaching is known as Mysore style. The Ashtanga series is learned posture by posture, making it easy to memorize and allowing each individual to practice at their own rhythm.
Brittany is a Squamish-based yoga teacher who shares the Ashtanga yoga method from KPJAYI, Mysore, India. She has spent 10 years experimenting with body movement and breath awareness by way of a daily yoga practice and as a dancer. She is passionate about sharing the therapeutic benefits as well as the self awareness and compassion this method can bring to ones life.
Natalia honours the Ashtanga lineage by a daily practice, by caring for her family and by sharing this traditional method. She is deeply grateful to this lineage and to her teachers. She is Authorized level 2 from KPJAYI, India and a Certified Holistic Nutritionist from IHN.

Intro workshops: Sep 30, Nov 4, Dec 2 11:00am-12:30pm, $30 *Includes one week on unlimited Ashtanga classes.
