Manboobs, Rupert, and the Rollercoaster are a three trail combination that makes a great day outing. You will start out riding Manboobs, head onto the Rupert, and finish up your outing with the Rollercoaster. The trails take about two hours to ride if you know what you are doing and you hit it hard. However, it’s not an easy ride so be prepared to take a while longer to ride the expanse. Many people end up taking twice as long to ride the three trails, especially during the height of summer when the trail’s congestion will be at its highest.
What to Expect From the Mountain Biking Trails
The trail’s ride style is classified as enduro xc, cross country, and all mountain. Its expanse is 14 kilometers. The ultimate elevation is 475 meters. It is considered an intermediate/advanced trail so definitely not for newbies. The first half the trail climbs at only a moderate level but the second half is steeper.
The Three Mountain Biking Trails: A Day of Fun Riding
- Manboobs: The Manboobs section of the trail is the first part of the ride. It is a man built and what a ride. The flow of Manboobs is considered suitable for all skill levels but the advanced rider will not be bored with this section at all. It is just flat out fun.
- Rupert: The Rupert has the classification of a black trail but there are easy ride outs around in the difficult parts if it is just too much for you to tackle. The rock faces along the way are smooth and you will enjoy simple turnouts. The real thrill of riding Rupert is the scalloped wooden bridge with its 180-degree wooden wall ride. What a rush!
- Rollercoaster: The final section of the trail is known as the Rollercoaster which is just flat out fun and the reason why the majority of avid mountain biking enthusiasts love the trial. After the Rollercoaster, you will end up back where you started. You will have ridden all three trails and you should have a fantastic feeling of success.
It is All About the Descent
The fun part about these trails is the descent. Obviously, as an experienced rider you are going to want to achieve some speed before you hit the rollercoaster section but if you know what you are doing then the final section of the trail is what it’s all about. You are going to be grinning from ear to ear when you finish up the ride. Talk about fun and a rush, well this trail offers it all if you know what you are doing.
If you are an experienced mountain biking enthusiast then you won’t want to let these three trails slip by. They are well worth the ride. However, the trails can get congested so don’t expect this to be a solo ride. You will be enjoying the trail with a wide array of other mountain bike riders.
