Mountain Biking

The area around Squamish boasts over 100 kilometers of singletrack trails. No matter what your riding skill level might be, you will find the right trail to fit your specific needs. If you are an adrenaline junkie and you want a heart stopping ride with a rapid descent filled with hairpin turns then try your biking skills at Diamond Head. For a family friendly ride, head for Alice Lakes cross-country trails. 

 

Golfing

If you love golfing with a view then you won’t be disappointed with the courses around Squamish. The Squamish Valley Golf Course has been serving golf enthusiasts in the area since 1967. The 18-hole par 72 course is walkable and an excellent place to enjoy the mild springtime weather. The Garibaldi Springs Golf Course is fun for the whole family because kids play free. 

Hiking

One of the simplest pleasures to enjoy during the mild spring days is hiking. In the month of April, most of the snow on the trails starts to melt and disappear. The popular Four Lakes Trail is family friendly and spans six kilometers.  It’s the perfect trail to pack a picnic and enjoy a fairly easy hike. 

 

ATV

If you are seeking outdoor adventure on an ATV then you won’t be disappointed with some of the guided tours around the Squamish area. There are also OHV riding areas if you are lucky enough to own one of your own ATVs. 

 

Kayaking

River or ocean kayaking, spring time beacons any water lover out. The ice is melting and it’s time for a float trip!
